We at the New York Bariatric Group are dedicated to the success of our patients. Deciding to undergo weight loss surgery is only the beginning of a patient’s weight loss journey. The real work starts after surgery. That is why the New York Bariatric Group has a robust support system in place for all patients and we have recently expanded our post op program to include complimentary nutrition classes at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY. These classes will be held the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month and are available to all of our patients, at no charge.
Stephanie Giraulo, RD, CDN, MBA, Director of Nutritional Services at St. Charles Hospital will head this initiative to ensure long term weight loss through continued education. Ms. Giraulo and her staff are specially trained to cater to the specific dietary needs of the bariatric patient. So, whether you are at the beginning of your weight loss journey and need some guidance on food choices and preparation, or only a few pounds away from your goal weight, we hope to see you take advantage of these sessions. Please click here to register or visit our website (www.StopObesityForLife.com) and click on seminar schedule. Our first session is scheduled for October 22nd. We hope to see you there!
