One facet of our commitment is our pursuit of exceeding standards of the highest quality, specifically our being named as a Center of Excellence.

What a Center of Excellence Means

With our patients and their success in mind, the leaders of New York Bariatric Group designed a program that was awarded the designation of Center of Excellence (COE) by the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). The ASMBS is the largest association in the world for bariatric surgeons, and it focuses on patient success and safety. The COE designation was created to evaluate programs components, outcomes, and statistics. New York Bariatric Group was deemed to be a Bariatric Center of Excellence, fully accredited by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and the Surgical Review Corporation.
