Dr. Chadi graduated from the University of California-Berkeley earning a bachelor’s degree with honors in Biochemistry. He then went on to pursue his medical school training at The Medical College of Wisconsin earning his MD in 1989. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC. He then trained as a cardiology fellow at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In his last year of his fellowship, he served as the chief fellow. Following his training in cardiology he pursued advanced training in interventional cardiology at St. John’s Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Upon completion of his training, Dr. Chadi obtained board certification in internal medicine, general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology. After completing his training in Michigan, he joined a cardiology group in New York, performing non-invasive and invasive procedures for patients suffering from cardiovascular disease. He also served as an attending cardiologist at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. As part of his responsibilities as an attending physician at Brookdale hospital, he trained and supervised residents and cardiology fellows. Dr. Chadi then moved to New Jersey and continued his work providing comprehensive cardiovascular evaluations for patients. Dr. Chadi has worked with patients from a variety of backgrounds and is committed to providing excellent care. At NYBG, Dr. Chadi provides comprehensive evaluations and preoperative testing to help patients undergoing bariatric procedures optimize their weight loss goals.
